To play along with CryptoBuggies, follow us on Twitter and vote on the latest poll where we decide where the buggycatcher goes next. The world of CryptoBuggies is confined to a 5x5 tiled grid representing a typical suburban backyard. Each tile type (grass, flowers, water, etc) holds a different weighted probability quotient for which CryptoBuggies we might uncover there.
For example, some CryptoBuggies may be very common in grass but other CryptoBuggies might only be found in sand. Still others may be extremely rare to turn up even when we’re in the right spot. It may take several attempts before an ultra rare CryptoBuggy appears. However, we can only return to the same tile again after playing 3 more turns elsewhere.
The type of CryptoBuggy we’re able to catch also depends on the tool we’re using! We began only with a simple bug catching jar. We also acquired the bug catching net.
There are several different base types of CryptoBuggies hidden across the map all with unique combinations of skin textures and background art. No two CryptoBuggies of the same type will ever look the same; each CryptoBuggy is a unique 1/1 NFT.
Community voting through polls on the CryptoBuggies Twitter page decides not only the direction we travel together across the backyard map, but also which tool we use for that turn. Unlike other NFT collections, the community of CryptoBuggies is in control of which CryptoBuggies get discovered.

Each map tile type (grass, sand, tree, etc) generate different %s of the different buggy types
If the community decides it really likes a type of CryptoBuggy that only lives on trees, the community can decide to catch CryptoBuggies from tree tiles more often. Through this approach, the community has a measurable impact on determining the relative rarity and scarcity of each CryptoBuggy type.
The CryptoBuggies collection is now complete with 49 CryptoBuggies having been found.
